So, I saw you guys at some awful dive in NYC's alphabet city in...hmmm...'97?
Show was good, but my feet kept sticking to the floor. Found out later
it was blood. Oh, well. Anyway, thought you'd like to know that Mexican
Love Song is a "Daily Tune" on MacRumors.com. Rock on Halo. Rock
on.

I'm very suprised and slightly freaked out by the pics of Jim(Bob)(Particularly
the naked one with the guitar). Jim is my boss. We work for an accountancy
firm. We look at data. This is well weird.

see, huh...funny story. i can't frickin believe "A Halo Called Fred" still
exists because i've been singing and whistling "damaged" ever
since i first heard it in 1993. and at some point in the last 2 years,
i googled you fools as "halo named fred" and didn't find boo
- cuz like, that's not your band's name. THEN, i found my "chester's
dozen" tape in a shoe box last week. A HA! so, i captured "damaged," "mister
hooper," and "70s clothes" so i could spread the AHNF
love on my stupid livejournal blog thingy. and that brings us to 5 minutes
ago when i googled you guys AGAIN, with the proper band name. and here
you are. so, really, if you think about it, posting some of your old
tunes wouldn't be nostalgic so much as it would simply be stealing and
posting your music on my blog. anyway, i had "chester's dozen" frickin
memorized in college. you guys came to play at Quinnipiac and you knew
someone there and you played at the Rat and i was probably wasted and
wound up with your tape. which is awesome.

Hooray for me for being perhaps the only person at the Wicked RenFaire
who knew the stuff off of your first album. :) Good luck to you all with
the new Words Pictures Movies! I'm looking forward to your next mega
blockbuster release. :)

Midnight looms upon the begrugged sunrise of yet another new year ...
mountainous shapes crawl through ones memories and recollections of younger,
more colorful times elluding us with silly illusions; they weren't younger
or more colorful, only missed. And so we embark onwards with greater
strength and more intense intentions ... to be ... more than we were.
Will this year bring dreams fulfilled? Will this year present us with
the satisfaction, wrapped in pretty ribbons as an eternal gift that rewards
the search? Perhaps. Hullo, Halo!

I had a Chester's Dozen tape while I lived in Demarest 10 years ago,
but then my father sold my car with the freakin' tape still in it (a
story he denies to this day). Thanks for releasing it (at least a modified
version of it) on CD - now I can share the joy of "Fire Alarm" and "Mr.
Hooper" with my friends...and we can all be powerless to get them
out of our heads, together!

Yo, as A Girl Called Fred, i had a friend e-mail me your website about
a hundred years ago (maybe more like 10), and i bought a tape (the eponymous
one i think). My nephews and i had some fun times jamming to songs like "Butt" and "I
don't wanna, it'll hurt". At some point i lost the tape, but somehow
yesterday the words "A Halo Called Fred" popped into my brain
and i was trying to figure out what they meant and i remembered how much
i totally want your butt, so i decided to look you up and hey you're
still there. Rock on! i'm gonna have to get a T-Shirt now, and more tunes.

I missed you guys at this Overnight thing in Edison last weekend, but
I was happy to know that you still exist. I saw you many, many times
in Demarest in the 1990s and remain a true fan, with my cassette of Chester's
Dozen comfortably nestled in my Brooklyn apartment. Big love, Teresa
("Teri") Theophano (I hope you're not going, "Who?!")

You guys rule. I had no idea you were offering Chester's Dozen on CD.
I still have the cassette tape I bought at one of your shows (in NYC,
if memory serves - this had to have been almost 10 years ago).

green ... talisker single malt from the isle of skye is yummy ... there
is a whole new generation of Halo fans in England .. or maybe they just
claimed that because JimBob was their boss.

How odd, since I don't live in Highland Park.

No. That is not what makes you famous. You are famous because you are
the very first search result on Musicstaff.com for guitar teachers in
Highland Park, NJ

Wow. Whatever I type here will show up on the web. Does that make me,
like, famous?

Allgeged, is now allegedly spelled correctly. Please proceed at your

I have nothing substantive to add here. You aren't. Oh, and I'm not kidding
about the alleged thing in my name. Buy a dictionary.
